Dyslexia Types in children:

There are four main types of disorders in children:

  • Dyslexia: slow and not fluent reading level (children confuse sounds similar to each other);
  • Dysorthography: lack of ability to master basic grammatical and punctuation principles (children have a poor vocabulary and make many mistakes during dictations);
  • Dysgraphia: lack of ability to write legibly (children also have difficulty concentrating and coordinating);
  • Dyscalculia: difficulty in mastering mathematical skills (children cannot analyze graphs and mathematical formulas).

Children with Dyslexia can pass their tests, exams for a more extended period than other students because of their inability to speed-up. And in some cases of advanced Dyslexia, the child can have the permission to read aloud, write in capital letters, or even on a computer with the ability to change the print font on larger exam sheets.

It should be remembered that children with Dyslexia are exposed to school failures, resulting in frustration caused by their inability to meet the requirements.
