4. Oscar De La Hoya
In 1992 Oscar De La Hoya made his professional boxing debut, a bout which saw him win by first round TKO. This was in the featherweight division. Since then he’s gone on to have a career of 45 wins and 6 losses including his famous Olympic gold medal which earned him the nickname “The Golden Boy”.
He is estimated to be worth somewhere around $200 million USD when his earnings from boxing, investments and other entrepreneurial pursuits are accounted for. He also has spoken of plans to be a 2020 US presidential candidate. We’ll see what happens.
