4. Golden Retriever
There are exceptions just liking the other breed, but I’m almost always happy to visualize a golden retriever waiting in a room. they’re happy, nice with children, affectionate with their homeowners, and one of the best dog breeds (easy to train). Golden’s, just like Labs, do tend to be a bit active, so they aren’t the best dog for somebody who wants a peaceful dog.
They do slow down, eventually, almost about the time they reach old age. Most of them keep sweet right up to the end.
